There has been another surge in reports from Virgin Media customers about issues with their emails this morning (July 3).
Downdetector has seen an increase in reported problems since just after 9am this morning.
While it seems the main problem is the Virgin Media email service, making up 78% of reported issues on Downdetector, customers have also raised concerns about streaming and internet speeds with the company.
These complaints come just under two weeks after Virgin Media customers suffered similar issues with their emails, with the problem lasting for nearly two days.
Customers then were left unable to login and access certain emails.
Following the last lot of issues, a Virgin Media spokesperson said: “Our teams are continuing to work flat out to restore historic emails into the inboxes of a small proportion of accounts.
"We apologise again for any inconvenience caused over the past two days.”
Virgin Media emails down again
Virgin Media customers took to Downdetector this morning to vent their frustration and explain their issues.
One customer said: "Every morning I get a ton of condition reports. Today I moved the lot over to Gmail......eventually.
"The difference in speed was like night and day and I got through the lot in half the time.
"WISH I HAD DONE THIS AGES AGO. TA TA VIRGIN"
Another person said: "My Virgin e-mail has stopped working again - it was fine but very slow up to about one hour ago and then it went down.
"This is now becoming a joke - the system id down more often that it is running and Virgin still expect me to pay for the full service."
A third customer added: "Virginmedia have been fouling up their email service for weeks. Reduce service and increase prices. I wish I had a suitable alternative."
