Two pet rabbits were stolen from a Harold Hill home in what the owner described as a “wicked” crime.
The nine-month-old males were taken overnight on Thursday from Broseley Road.
Ginger, a tan-coloured bunny, and playmate Frosty, white with black patches around his eyes, are now being sought by upset owner, Tina Wright.
“I cannot believe that someone would be wicked enough to steal two rabbits,” said mum Tina. “There are rumours that people are stealing them to either use them as bait or to kill for food.
“Apparently there have been a few stolen recently. I have ads everywhere on Facebook but I don’t hold out much hope - though I am keeping my fingers crossed for the boys.”
Havering Police have been approached for comment.
