Major disruption will continue to affect Greater Anglia services in Essex over the weekend after a train derailment.
The derailment happened on Friday (August 14) near Wickford station, causing extensive damage to railway infrastructure and forcing the closure of the line.
As a result, services between London Liverpool Street and Southend Victoria have been cancelled or revised, with only limited trains running on parts of the route.
The Southminster branch line has also been affected, with no trains currently running between Wickford and Southminster.
A Network Rail response team remains on site, carrying out a full investigation and assessing the condition of the route - with "major disruption" expected to continue until at least Sunday (August 16).
National Rail said: "At this stage, it is unlikely that the route will be reopened over the weekend and disruption may continue into next week.
"Response teams are working around the clock and doing everything possible to safely restore the lines and resume normal train services as soon as possible."
A half-hourly shuttle service is currently running between London Liverpool Street and Billericay, and between Southend Victoria and Hockley.
A limited rail replacement bus service is operating between Billericay and Rochford.
Replacement buses are also running between Wickford and Southminster for passengers hoping to travel on the Southminster branch line.
Greater Anglia tickets are being accepted on c2c services between London Liverpool Street or London Fenchurch Street, West Ham, and Southend Central.
Passengers can also use the London Overground Liberty line between Romford and Upminster for c2c connections.
London Underground alternatives include the Circle line between Liverpool Street and Tower Hill, and the Jubilee line between Stratford and West Ham.
Arriva Bus routes 1, 7, 8, and 9 are also accepting rail tickets, covering journeys between Rayleigh, Hockley, Rochford, Prittlewell, and Southend.
First Bus services 25, 300, X10, and X30 are available: 25 between Southend, Rayleigh, Wickford and Basildon; 300 between Chelmsford, Billericay and Basildon; X10 between Chelmsford, Wickford and Basildon; X30 between Chelmsford, Rayleigh and Southend.
Passengers travelling to or from Braintree should use the first available train between London Liverpool Street and Witham, then transfer to the shuttle service between Witham and Braintree.
Advance purchase ticket holders can travel on earlier or later trains if their booked service is cancelled.
The train derailed at around 2.12pm on Friday, and remained in an upright position after leaving the tracks, with no current reports of injuries.
