A man has been taken to hospital after he was hit by a car in Dagenham Heathway.
Emergency services were called to Reede Road on Sunday (December 1) at 2.37pm and found the man with head injuries following the crash.
The man, in his 40s, was taken to hospital, where his injuries were deemed non-life threatening.
Reede Road and Heathway was closed off on the Sunday as investigations took place.
No arrests have been made, but police continue to look into the matter.
A Metropolitan Police spokesperson said: “Police were called at 14:37hrs on Sunday, 1 December to reports of a man being hit by a car on Reede Road, Dagenham Heathway.
“Officers and the London Ambulance Service attended the scene and found a man in his 40s with injuries to his head.
“He was taken to hospital for treatment, where his injuries were deemed non-life threatening.
“No arrests have been made. Enquires remain ongoing.”
