An independent hairdressers in Hornchurch has applied for a licence to sell alcohol.
The Vanilla Room, in High Street, Hornchurch, hopes to sell alcohol on the premises during its opening hours - between 11am and 9pm, seven days a week.
The premises licence was submitted to Havering Council last month, and is open to feedback until Thursday (December 5).
The Vanilla Room - which opened in 1995 - is an award-winning salon, having previously won Best Colour Salon in Essex in the Salon Awards.
It has an average rating of 4.9 stars on Google Reviews, with several clients mentioning that they were offered tea or coffee during their hair appointment.
