A new cafe has been opened in Hornchurch by the same family behind an award-winning chippy.
Hacton Cafe was opened late last month by Sahin Cetin, who also runs Hacton Lane Fish Bar in the same parade of shops.
The fish and chip shop was voted Best Chippy in Havering by Recorder readers in October 2023.
Sahin describes the latest venture as "a family-run cafe aiming to provide a cosy atmosphere with a blend of traditional and modern food".

He said: "The interior of our cafe is designed to feel welcoming and timeless, whilst the exterior aims to reflect our connection to the local area."
Sahin added that the food is freshly prepared, with a focus on traditional English dishes.
Classic items will be served such as set breakfasts, pies and omelettes as well as curry, steaks or spaghetti bolognese
"Since opening, we've received wonderful support from the community," Sahin said.
"We are grateful for our loyal customers and new visitors who continue to make the cafe a vibrant and welcoming place."
