Plans for the future use of a former snooker hall and for offices to become flats are among those received by Havering Council this week.
A total of 42 planning proposals were submitted to the council between November 12 and November 18.
Of these, we have shone a spotlight on the most interesting applications to have featured on the weekly list.
Decisions have not yet been made on the future of the applications.
Offices in a multi-storey building in Romford could be redeveloped into flats.
An application has been put forward proposing for the upper floors of 136 South Street to become two one-bed flats.
Previous applications for the site have been refused, with the most recent decision notice issued on November 1.
In its reasoning, Havering Council stated that "it would be likely that the future occupiers of the site would suffer from undue noise from the ground floor adult gaming centre".
A 1930s Hornchurch snooker hall in High Street could be turned into five new flats.

It is the third attempt to have the redevelopment approved at Knights Snooker Club, with past proposals being refused on the grounds of lacking adequate light levels.
It is understood that the site has remained as was left when the club closed in July 2022.
Other proposals featured in the weekly list include the standard home extension plans.
