Police have shared the condition of two women who were injured and hospitalised after bus had its roof ripped off in Dagenham.
Police were called to a bus crashing into a tree on Hedgemans Road, near Lullington Road, just after 10am today (November 20).
Two women were injured from the crash and were taken to hospital as a precaution.
However, their injuries are not life-threatening nor life-changing.
Pictures show the roof of the 145 bus, which goes through Ilford and Leytonstone, left on the road.
A Metropolitan Police spokesperson said: “At about 10:00am on Wednesday, 20 November a bus collided with a tree on Hedgemans Road, Dagenham.
“Police and the London Ambulance Service attended.
“Two women were injured and were both taken to hospital as a precaution. Their injuries are not life-threatening nor life-changing.
“Enquiries into the circumstances of the collision continue.”
