Two people have been taken to hospital after a bus had its roof ripped off in Dagenham.
The incident happened in Hedgemans Road near Lullington Road just after 10am today (November 20).
Officers and London Ambulance Service crews attended and found two people injured.
They were taken to hospital where their conditions are currently being assessed.
We have contacted Metropolitan Police for further information.
A spokesperson for London Ambulance Service said: “We were called at 10.09am today (20 November) to reports of an incident on Hedgemans Road, Dagenham.
“We sent resources to the scene, including ambulances crews, a paramedic in a fast response car, an incident response officer and members of our hazardous area response team (HART).
“We assessed two patients at the scene and took both of them to hospital.”
