A person has escaped from a shop fire in Walthamstow.
Copper Mill Off Licence in Coppermill Lane was closed off as firefighters tackled the blaze just before 1.15pm today (November 19).
One person escaped before the London Fire Brigade arrived and no injuries were reported.
Six fire engines and 40 firefighters were at the scene and the fire was under control by 2.09pm.
A small part of the roof void was destroyed, the London Fire Brigade said.
Images show a cordon around the off licence shop and a line of fire engines at the scene.
The cause of the fire is unknown at this time but is under investigation.
