A woman has been taken to hospital after being hit by a car in Dagenham.
The incident happened outside Chadwell Heath station just before 8.30am today (November 19).
Officers and London Ambulance Service crews attended and found the woman injured.
She was taken to hospital where her condition was assessed as non-life threatening.
No arrests have been made as police enquiries into the circumstances continue.
A spokesperson for Metropolitan Police said: “Police were called at 8.27am on Tuesday, 19 November to reports of a road traffic collision near Chadwell Heath Underground Station, Romford.
“Officers and the London Ambulance Service attended and found a car in collision with a pedestrian.
“Her injuries are not life-threatening or life-changing.
“No arrests have been made.”
A London Ambulance Service spokesperson said: “We were called at 8.18am this morning (Tuesday 19 November) to reports of a road traffic collision in Station Road, Chadwell Heath.
“We sent an ambulance crew to the scene.
“Our crews treated a woman at the scene, before taking her to hospital.”
