A Hornchurch man won $765,200 in just 45 seconds.
Nick Marchington, 26, beat some of the world's best poker players to become the main event champion at the PokerStars North American Poker Tour (NAPT) in Las Vegas.
The poker pro was up against 895 competitors in the $5,300 buy-in event.
This is his second-largest career win, following his seventh-place finish at the 2019 World Series of Poker Main Event, where he won $1,525,000.
His win shared a $4.3 million prize pool across 127 players.
Nick told Poker.org: "The entire final hand, which was the only hand of heads-up, lasted about 45 seconds.
"It took me a while to actually process that I had won because it was all over in a flash."
The NAPT returned to Las Vegas from November 1 to 10 for its second edition.
