Redbridge Council has launched a survey asking residents for their views on budget priorities.
The council is seeking input on how to maintain key services while managing a reduced budget.
A spokesperson said the authority has been significantly affected by more than ten years of government austerity, with the council losing more than 54p for every £1 of government grant funding.
This has led to a reduction of more than £150 million annually for services.
Council leader Kam Rai said: "We deserve fairer funding. As council leader, I will continue to make that case with the new government and our MPs.
"Despite the uphill battle of rising inflation, increasing demand, and reduced government funding, we are determined to continue delivering with less while safeguarding the vital services crucial to our community.
"We want our neighbours' views on what services matter most to them and how we can continue to make Redbridge a great place to live."
The survey is open until December 1 and will help decide how the council will allocate its funds for the next fiscal year.
The survey can be found on the council's website at engage.redbridge.gov.uk/budget-2025-26/surveys/survey.
