New signs could be coming to a supermarket in Dagenham.
A planning application submitted to Barking and Dagenham Council is looking to get approval to update the current signage at the Lidl store in Heathway.
It forms part of the supermarket's major refurbishment, after its neighbour Iceland moved from the shared site to the Heathway shopping centre.
Lidl has been closed since July 22 and is yet to announce when it expects to welcome customers to the new, larger store.

The documents accompanying the plans propose to remove the existing signage, including the Iceland logos.
These would be replaced with three internally illuminated signs and four externally illuminated billboards.
Other branding including a poster display unit and projecting sign could also be introduced to the store.
