A woman has been taken to hospital after a car and van crashed on the A12.
The A12 was closed from Whalebone Lane North to Barley Lane this morning (October 25) for nearly an hour after the crash at 7.32am.
Police were called to westbound of the A12 at the junction with Whalebone Lane.
At the scene, a car crashed with a van, the Metropolitan Police said.
Two patients were assessed and a woman was taken to hospital while a man was discharged.
No serious injuries were reported.
A London Ambulance Service spokesperson said: “We sent resources to the scene, including ambulance crews, a paramedic in a fast response car and an incident response officer.
“The first of our crews arrived in three minutes.”
The vehicles were then removed from the highway and there were still long delays after the junction fully reopened at around 8.30am.
