Family-friendly Halloween activities in Romford
Romford Shopping Hall's Trick or Treat Hunt - October 29
Romford Shopping Hall has a "super scary fabulous" trick or treat treasure hunt planned for Tuesday (October 29), from 12pm until 4pm.
This includes a chance to collect goodies, such as toys and sweets, and meet some "not so scary" animatronics.
Fancy dress is "positively encouraged" - even for adults - and tickets are £3 per child on the hall's Eventbrite page, or £5 on the door.
Aspen Tree's Halloween Party - October 31
Greene King pub The Aspen Tree, in Collier Row, is hosting a family-friendly party on Halloween itself, from 12pm until 3pm.
The spooky bash will feature face painting, games and activities and the chance to win prizes, as well as take home goodie bags.
Tickets are £5 per child and proceeds go towards Macmillan Cancer Support.
Spookfest at The Liberty Shopping Centre - October 27-31
The Liberty has almost a week of free Halloween fun planned, featuring spooky crafts and Halloween glitter tattoos for every child.
Sessions will last 20 minutes and run daily from 11am until 4pm - with the chance to make "wooden spoon ghouls" and DIY Halloween bunting.
Tickets are free, but parents must book in advance via Eventbrite to secure their child's spot. See The Liberty's website for more details.
Sapphire Ice & Leisure, Trick or Treat at the Rink - November 1
Sapphire Ice & Leisure is running a Halloween event next Friday (November 1) to coincide with the Romford Raiders ice hockey match against Milton Keynes Lightning at 7.15pm.
Children will be invited to visit the trick or treat stations around the arena during the period breaks, and will also get a Raiders treat bag.
Tickets are only £1 for kids, when accompanied by a full paying adult, and there will be a fancy dress competition for both adults and children.
