A Rmford town centre gastropub has celebrated its grand opening.
Ivy Tree, in South Street, first opened in August as part of a "soft launch" - but has only now held its opening ceremony.
The gastropub and lounge bar welcomed Romford MP Andrew Rosindell to the ceremony on Friday (October 18).
Guests got to sample some Ivy Tree cocktails, as well as try some of the spread of food from its menu.
Dancers also attended the event, including a performer on stilts and two with disco ball helmets.
In a speech before cutting the ribbon, Mr Rosindell praised the staff for their "hard work" to make Ivy Tree a "wonderful location".
He said: "Thank you to all of you, your staff and those who have worked so hard to turn this into such a wonderful location.
"I look forward to coming back for Sunday roasts and for breakfasts."
Since the "soft launch" opening on August 8, Ivy Tree has expanded its menu to include brunch options and its own spin on a Sunday roast.
Owner Remzi Erdogan previously told the Recorder that he hoped Ivy Tree would bring the "feel of Mayfair but with Romford prices".
In a statement to mark the grand opening, Remzi said that Ivy Tree is about creating a space where people can "celebrate and enjoy life's moments".

He told guests: "Opening this restaurant has been a dream come true, and today wouldn't be possible without the love and support from every one of you.
"Whether you've been part of this journey from the beginning or have just joined us, we are so grateful to have you here.
"Today is just the beginning, and we look forward to sharing many more beautiful memories with you all."
