Work is underway for the return of a popular Christmas attraction and for the sale of mulled wine and German beer.
Havering Christmas Land, an annual charity event run by Havering Mind, is preparing for its return on November 29.
Once it opens its doors for its fifth year, it will run almost every evening until January 1, with entry slots from 4.30pm until 7.50pm.
A licensing application has been submitted by Havering Mind to permit the sale of alcohol Monday to Sunday from 3.30pm to 9.30pm.
Anyone wishing to have their say about the application can contact the licensing authority www.havering.gov.uk.
Feedback can be given about the proposal up until October 25.
Located in Harrow Lodge Park, Hornchurch, the attraction sees the secret garden next to Harrow Lodge House lit up with a "magical" Christmas lights walkway.
There will also be a Santa's grotto and refreshments.
A team of volunteers design, set up and run Havering Christmas Land each year.
Ciaran White, Havering Christmas Land's event organiser, said: "Havering Christmas Land 2024 will be our biggest and brightest yet.
"We wanted to create a magical, cost-effective Christmas attraction for the people of Havering, right on their doorstep.
"The effort and creativity from our team of volunteers have been truly outstanding—it’s going to be something special."
Tickets for Havering Christmas Land are £4.50 for weekdays and £5.50 for weekends and Christmas week, with the grotto priced at £7.
Under 2s go free.
All funds raised will support Mind in Havering, Barking and Dagenham.
