Police have issued a condition update for a man taken to a major trauma centre after being injured in a crash in Hornchurch this week.
The update comes after officers were called at 2.21pm on October 8 with reports of a collision involving a pedestrian and vehicle in Airfield Way.
Paramedics from the London Ambulance Service and colleagues in London's Air Ambulance were also dispatched to help.
At the scene the pedestrian, a man in his 60s, was found with injuries and was taken to a major trauma centre.
At the time of reporting on the day of the crash, his condition was unknown.
His next of kin have been informed and are being supported by specially trained officers.
The driver of the vehicle stopped at the scene of the crash and is assisting police with their enquiries.

No arrests have been made.
Investigating detectives are now appealing for anyone with information or footage to come forward.
