A woman has been taken to hospital following a crash on Tower Bridge.

Police were called to Tower Bridge Road yesterday (September 24) at around 4.02pm to the crash between a vehicle and pedestrian.

A woman was taken to hospital where her injuries were later assessed as not life-threatening.

London Ambulance Service also attended and sent ambulance crews and a paramedic in a response car.

There have been no arrests.

A spokesperson for Metropolitan Police said: “Police were called at 16:02hrs to Tower Bridge Road after a collision involving a vehicle and a pedestrian.

“The woman has been taken to hospital and her injuries have been assessed as not life-threatening.

“There have been no arrests.”

“We sent resources to the scene, including ambulance crews and a paramedic in a response car.

“Our crews treated a woman at the scene, before taking her to hospital.”
