The Metropolitan Police has issued a condition update for a man stabbed in Upminster.
It comes after officers were called to Marlborough Gardens at around 10am on September 20 with reports of an incident.
Paramedics from the London Ambulance Service were also dispatched to the scene, with London's Air Ambulance flown in to assist.
The charity is only called to help treat London's most seriously ill patients.
A man in his early 30s was taken to hospital in a critical condition.
A spokesperson for the Met has since confirmed that he is no longer fighting for his life.
