Another planning application has been submitted as part of proposed refurbishment works at a Grade II-listed pub in Romford town centre.
The Lamb, in Market Place, has plans for an upgrade - including a new external seating area and replacement brass lanterns by the front entrance.
The latest application, submitted by gba Designs on behalf of pub chain Greene King, is for a "change of colour to the exterior of the building".
As the pub is a Grade II-listed venue, dating back to the 1600s according to Havering Libraries, it needs to apply for listed building consent for even minor changes.
However, the heritage statement submitted alongside the plans for the colour change said: "Our proposals will have no undue effect on the existing building as the works relate only to new decorations."
The historic pub plans to repaint the pre-painted surfaces at the front and back of the building.

This includes the front signage, and lower level windows and doors being painted in Dulux Heritage Mallard Green, and the upper windows being painted white.
The decision date for previous refurbishment plans to replace five signs, four brass lanterns and four floodlights has been pushed back until October 1.
Havering Council is also expected to make a decision on the change of colour and the outdoor seating area proposals next month.
