East London commuters are set to be impacted by engineering works on the c2c line on all but one day this week. 

Service alterations will take place across the c2c network, which connects London to Essex, from Monday (September 9) to Thursday (September 12) and the weekend of September 14 and 15. 

This is a result of planned engineering work, according to the train company's website. 

Monday - Thursday (September 9-12)

Engineering work between Fenchurch Street and Barking, and between Barking and Upminster will take place from 11.30pm. 

The engineering work will affect the Ockendon, Rainham and Basildon lines, with services starting and terminating at either Liverpool Street, Barking or Upminster. 

Stations affected by the subsequent partial line closure include London Fenchurch Street, Limehouse, West Ham, Barking, and Upminster. 

Passengers with a valid ticket will be able to use the District line services instead between Tower Hill and Upminster. 

Alternatively, they can travel with their valid ticket via the Jubilee line services between West Ham and Stratford.

Saturday (September 14)

All three lines will continue to be affected by engineering works between Fenchurch Street and Barking.

For those travelling on the Basildon line, services will be running on diversion to Liverpool Street, calling additionally at Stratford but missing Limehouse and West Ham. 

Barking and London Fenchurch Street stations will also be impacted. 

Commuters with a valid ticket can use the Jubilee line services between Stratford and West Ham, as well as DLR services between Tower Gateway, Limehouse and Stratford and West Ham.  

For those travelling on the Ockendon Line on Saturday, engineering works between Fenchurch Street and Barking will result in a rail shuttle service. 

The rail shuttle will run from Upminster to Grays via Ockendon and Chafford Hundred only. 

c2c has advised passengers wishing to travel towards London or Southend to change at Upminster or Grays. 

The Rainham line services will be diverted to Liverpool Street on Saturday. 

An additional stop will be made at Stratford, but Limehouse and West Ham will not be called at. 

Passengers with a valid ticket are advised to use Jubilee line services between Stratford and West Ham. 

Alternatively, DLR services between Tower Gateway, Limehouse, Stratford and West Ham can be used. 

c2c has reported that these services will be extended to Shoeburyness. 

Sunday (September 15)

The engineering work between Fenchurch Street and Basildon will continue on to Sunday 

Basildon line services will be diverted to Liverpool Street, making an additional stop at Stratford. 

The line will not call at Limehouse or West Ham.

Alternative routes can be made by travelling on the Jubilee line between Stratford and West Ham, or via DLR services between Tower Gateway, Limehouse and Stratford and West Ham. 

The alternative routes on the Basildon line also applies to the Rainham line, but these services will be extended to Shoeburyness for Rainham line users only. 

On the Ockendon Line, a rail shuttle will run between Upminster to Grays via Ockendon and Chafford Hundred only.  

Passengers for services towards London or Southend should change at Upminster or Grays.
