A plane has crashed in Upminster, leading to a man being rushed to hospital.
Emergency services were called to Aveley Road, Upminster, today (September 7), after reports of a “light aircraft” that crashed at 1.08pm.
A man, understood to be a passenger on the plane, was taken to hospital for treatment.

His condition is not known at this time, the Metropolitan Police said.
It’s understood the crash was near Belhus Country Park and the entrance has been closed off.
The Air Accidents Investigation Branch is investigating into the crash.
