A Love Island star is stepping into a new role - as a quiz host at a town centre pub in Romford.
Jake Cornish, from series seven of Love Island, is set to voice a new 'fizz & quiz' evening at Slug & Lettuce next Tuesday (September 10).
The South Street bar is teaming up with Jake to launch the smartphone-based speed quiz.
He will not actually be in Romford in person, but will instead test the knowledge of pub guests with pre-recorded quiz questions.
Cornish starred in the reality TV show alongside Liberty Poole in 2021, and appeared on Love Island All Stars earlier this year.
He says he knows Romford customers are going to have "an absolute ball" at this "fantastic new quiz night".
He added: "I’m always up for a good night out so I am thrilled to be a part of Slug & Lettuce’s new fizz & quiz evening and being the new quiz host is a great honour for me!"
The event, running from 7pm to 9pm, is free to play and consists of several trivia rounds.

Fizz & Quiz will take place once a month, with customers pre-booking offered a bottle of fizz for just £20.
Prizes such as Slug & Lettuce vouchers are up for grabs for the quiz winners.
Becky Southern, head of marketing at Slug & Lettuce, said: "We cannot wait to launch our brand-new fizz & quiz evening where we are inviting locals to come and test their general knowledge.
"At Slug & Lettuce, we want to keep giving our loyal guests more reasons to visit, and this year we want to emphasise our message that we are all about good times and fab vibes."
She added that they are anticipating "a blast of a first night".

Audience members are encouraged to book in advance to secure their spots for the fizz & quiz evenings.

The event follows the launch of 'Flamingo Bingo' earlier this year, a bingo night with a DJ and dancing.
