A man has been rushed to hospital after a stabbing in Dagenham.
Police were called at around 4.30pm this afternoon (September 2) after the incident in Birdbrook Close.
A man aged in his 20s was found at the scene suffering from stab wounds.
He was rushed to hospital by London Ambulance Service where his condition was assessed as not life-threatening.
There have been no arrests and police enquiries continue into the incident.
Pictures from the scene showed a large emergency service presence in Birdbrook Close earlier this evening.
A police cordon could be seen in place outside homes in the street.
An Air Ambulance helicopter also landed nearby in Beam Parklands Country Park.
