A condition update has been given for a passenger who had to be "cut from a van" after a crash on the A13 last week.
The crash on the A13 eastbound, near Rainham, saw a van and a truck collide at just after 7am on Thursday (August 29).
Both drivers were taken to hospital with "minor injuries", however the van passenger had to be "cut from the vehicle" by firefighters after sustaining "larger injuries".
The passenger was then taken to hospital.
A spokesperson for the Met Police said: "The casualty has been seen at hospital and their injuries have been confirmed as being non life changing, non life threatening."
Two fire engines and a fire rescue unit attended the scene, as well as ambulance crews and London's Air Ambulance.

Police closed the A13 for almost eight hours in both directions, between A1306 (Wennington Interchange) and Ferry Lane Interchange, while they cleared the road to make it safe for drivers.
This caused major delays and queues back to the M25 junction 30.
Enquiries into the circumstances of the crash are ongoing, and police urge anyone with information to call 101 or ‘X’ @MetCC and quote CAD1358/29AUG.
