A man has been arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm after an 18-year-old suffered injuries caused by a broken bottle.
Police were called a property in Retford Road in Harold Hill at about 10.48pm on August 13 to reports of an altercation and found a man, 18, wounded from a broken bottle.
On Wednesday (August 21) police confirmed a man, 22, had been arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm in connection with the incident.
The 22-year-old, who was also injured, was taken to an east London police station and bailed pending further enquiries.
His injuries were not life-threatening.

The Metropolitan Police previously reported a man in his 20s was attacked, sustaining stabbing injuries to his legs and arms.
His age was yesterday (August 22) confirmed as 18 years old instead by a police spokesperson.
The 18-year-old was taken to hospital on August 13 where his injuries were also assessed as non life-threatening.
Enquiries continue, police added.
