Around 200 people had to be evacuated from a shopping centre in Romford today after a fire broke out at a restaurant.
Five fire engines and 35 firefighters tackled a blaze at the Brewery Shopping Centre, in Waterloo Road, just before 11am this morning (August 21).
The fire broke out at a restaurant near Sainsbury's, however the London Fire Brigade (LFB) did not confirm what restaurant.
Toby Carvery and Cosmo are the restaurants located on the ground floor near to the supermarket.
Before the fire crews arrived at 10.50am, around 200 people had to leave the shopping centre.
The LFB have confirmed that there are "no reports of any injuries", however a deep fat fryer containing around 10 litres of cooking oil was destroyed by the fire.

Crews from Dagenham, Harold Hill, and Greenwich fire stations managed to get the blaze under control in an hour.
A spokesperson from the London Fire Brigade said: "Five fire engines and around 35 firefighters tackled a fire at a restaurant within a shopping centre on Waterloo Road in Romford.
"The brigade was called at 10.50am and the fire was under control by 11.47am.
"Crews from Dagenham, Harold Hill, and Greenwich fire stations attended the scene."
