A man has been charged with actual bodily harm and possession of points and blades after another man was found with a slash injury to his face.
Police were called to Hilldene Avenue at the junction of Newbury Road, Harold Hill, at about 5.16pm on August 15 to reports of a man stabbed.
They arrested a man in connection with the incident.
Today (August 19) police said William Ring, 37, of no fixed address, has been charged with actual bodily harm and possession of points and blades.

It comes after a 46-year-old man was discovered by emergency services with a slash injury to the face and treated at the scene before being taken to a hospital.
His condition was assessed as non life-threatening and non life-changing.
Ring was remanded in custody and scheduled to appear at Snaresbrook Crown Court on September 16.
