The car park at Romford's main hospital has been partly reopened as "urgent" health and safety work continues.
Patients and visitors can once again use most floors of the multi-storey car park at Queen's Hospital, in Rom Valley Way, from 7am on Monday (August 12).
The ground floor, first floor and second floor are back in use, but the top floor and a small part of the second floor will be unavailable as works continue.
Barking, Havering and Redbridge University Hospitals NHS Trust (BHRUT) says the Romford hospital car park will not return to full capacity until mid-September.

This means that 686 spaces will be available until September 16, when the full 927 spaces will be open for use.
Residents with blue badges, cancer patients, dialysis patients and those entitled to concessionary parking will be unaffected during the ongoing works.
The trust has urged patients who are able to use public transport to free up spaces for those who need them most.
"Urgent" work at the Queen's Hospital car park had to be undertaken after a review by independent heath and safety inspectors found multiple issues with the premises.
These issues, including ineffective lighting and sun damage to the rooftop level asphalt, had to be resolved by early 2025 so the car park was not at risk of full closure.
The improvement works are taking place until September 14, and BHRUT has thanked visitors for their "support and understanding" while work is ongoing.
