A new Little Waitrose is coming to Brentwood next month.

The Shell South Weald petrol station, in Brook Street, will soon be home to a new Little Waitrose food and drink area, expected to open late September.

This site is currently closed while the new store is put in place, alongside other refurbishments.

The new Shell Little Waitrose will provide customers with 'dinner for tonight' options, as well as a choice of flowers and plants.

It will also sell a small selection of household and family products, ingredients for scratch cooking, sandwiches, ready meals, and snacks.

Shell has applied for a premises licence to sell alcohol at the Brentwood petrol station for 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

The licence also includes selling "late night refreshment" from 11pm until 5am, from Monday to Sunday.

Waitrose supplies more than 90 Shell forecourt shops - of which the Brook Street store is the latest addition - that are run by Shell as part of the supply agreement.

Across these shops Waitrose provides around 1,000 products - with roughly two-thirds of these being from their own label ranges.
