The opening of a new gastropub set to replace a former Wetherspoons in Romford town centre has been delayed again.
Ivy Tree - formerly The World's Inn Wetherspoons - in South Street was due to open on July 12, but its launch has been pushed back after "technical issues".
Pub owner Remzi Erdogan told the Recorder that he would know by Wednesday, July 17 when the new opening date is likely to be.
The gastropub has already had delays to its opening, with its original April launch date pushed back due to issues with its naming rights.

Remzi had to resolve a dispute with famous restaurant chain The Ivy over his pub's name.
Ivy Tree has already had tables and chairs delivered for the premises, and neon signs on the walls reading 'The Ivy Tree' and 'You're looking gorgeous today' can be seen through the pub windows.
CGI images have shown what the rest of the interiors could look like, with a glitzy art deco feel overall.
Remzi previously told the Recorder that Ivy Tree has hired 26 staff members - including bartenders, chefs and hostesses - and is hoping to hire ten more.
The World's Inn closed its doors for the final time in April 2023.
