Euro 2024 Finals: Five Tripadvisor rated Romford takeaways

To mark the momentous occasion and in the hopes football does indeed come home, we have rounded up five takeaways in Romford you could potentially order from tonight.

Whether its a celebratory takeaway or one to make you feel better, here are a range of places that will satisfy either need. 

1. Bekash Tandoori

This Indian takeaway can be found in Victoria Road. 

It has been rated #5 of 197 Romford restaurants on Tripadvisor. 

A review from Scoobyezra in March 2023 reads: "Only ever use this place for takeaway or eat in, no where else comes close.

Several reviews from 2024 have praised the takeaways restaurant too. 

It has been given an overall 4.5 rating after receiving 654 reviews.

Bekash Tandoori will close at 11pm this evening according to Google.

2. Asia Villa

Another takeaway in Victoria Road, this time specialising in Pan Asian food from Thailand, Burma, Japan, Malaysia and Vietnam.

Out of 50 reviews, 39 have given Asia Villa an excellent rating. Overall, the takeaway has been rated 4.5 on Tripadvisor. 

ShellBell visited in January and gave the takeaway a glowing review.

"We often order chinese (elsewhere) but decided to go for a change. Both of us agreed the food was fantastic, was delivered pretty quickly and tasted super fresh.

"The salt and pepper chicken was absolutely delightful, and the Pad See Ew was super tasty. Even the egg fried rice was lovely. Will be ordering again 100%". 

Asia Villa closes at 10pm tonight according to Google. 

3. Chariots Fish and Chips

Located in Upper Brentwood Road, Gidea Park.

Chariots Fish and Chips has been given a rating of 4.5 on Tripadvisor. 

A review from Brian083 in April says: "Brilliant tasty fish and chips. Great service, massive portions.

"Portions are massive. Our family live local and if you were taking the food home you could easily feed 2 people on one portion."

It will close at 9pm this evening according to Google. 

4. Mangal Meze

Those wishing for a kebab can order from this takeaway and restaurant in South Street. 

It has been rated #6 of 197 restaurants in Romford, with an overall rating of 4.5 from 454 reviews on Tripadvisor. 

Orders are taken through Deliveroo, and Uber Eats but there is a click and collect option on its website.

A review from AndrewP in June praised the restaurant, saying: "Lovely meal, good setting, nice service and a killer of a mixed Kebab, will definitely come back when in Romford. Would definitely recommend."

5. Ped's Pizza

This pizza takeaway spot in Main Road has been given a 5 rating on Tripadvisor. 

It is open until 9pm today according to Google 

JacquelineA wrote a review after ordering a takeaway in June and said: "We haven’t been into the restaurant but ordered for takeaway.

"I’m a coeliac and I just have to say mind blown. The best damned pizza I’ve ever had. Seriously! My husband loved his normal pizza also declaring it the best !"
