An arcade and entertainment venue in Romford has unveiled its brand new attractions following a refurbishment. 

Works inside Namco Funscape in The Brewery were officially completed yesterday (July 12), introducing new bumper cars, arcade machines and much more to the venue. 

According to the company, the new bumper cars are made of recyclable materials and are more energy efficient than othersAccording to the company, the new bumper cars are made of recyclable materials and are more energy efficient than others (Image: Namco The Brewery) The Bandai Namco Group, best known for the PAC-MAN and Tekken video games, confirmed in April that hours at the Romford centre would be cut to just Friday to Sunday to allow for the works to go ahead. 

Regular hours have now been resumed and customers are welcomed to see the new changes for themselves.

The entrance to the venue has been revamped, now featuring a large exterior screen.

Tenpin bowling is one of the original attractions provided by the companyTenpin bowling is one of the original attractions provided by the company (Image: Namco The Brewery) Prior to the refurbishment, visitors were able to choose between tenpin bowling, race car simulators and other activities in the centre. 

The venue is open between 10am and 11pm Monday to Thursday, from 10am until 12am Friday to Saturday, and from 10am to 10.30pm on Sunday.
