An osteopaths near a major hospital could be replaced with a shop under new plans.
Proposals have been submitted to Havering Council to change Bodybalance Osteopaths in Oldchurch Road - around the corner from Queen's Hospital - into a shop, including creating a new entrance door and shop front.
The first floor, currently used as a flat, would remain as residential use with no change to the layout.
The planning documents show that the internal walls separating the current customer's area, consultation room and therapy room would be knocked down to create one open shop space across the entire ground floor - measuring 190 square metres.
Set to sell food, beverages or tobacco, the new shop would open from 7am until 9pm Monday to Friday and from 8am until 9pm on weekends and bank holidays.

If the plans are approved by the council, building works would start in August and last for a month.
The plans were submitted by MKM Design & Construction Ltd on behalf of Abi & Abiz Ltd on July 2.
Havering Council is expected to make a decision on the plans by August 27.
