A man has suffered serious injuries after a group robbery in Soho.
Police have appealed for information after man in his 30s was assaulted and robbed of his phone at about 1.35am on Bateman Street, west London.
The man, accosted by a group of males, sustained serious head injuries that were potentially life changing.
"His condition is not life-threatening, but potentially life-changing," police said.

There have been no arrests yet but an investigation is underway.
It is being led by CID officers based at Charing Cross police station and the force has continued to appeal for information.
Any witnesses have been asked to call police on 101 and quote reference 679/07jul.
