A fire at a derelict building in Harold Hill earlier this month is not the only blaze to have broken out there, the Metropolitan Police has confirmed.
The London Fire Brigade's control centre was called at 8.59pm on June 10 with reports of a fire at an address in Troopers Drive.
Around 35 firefighters from across east London were dispatched to the scene in response to the incident.
The fire was under police investigation after it destroyed half of the first floor and roof of a two-storey derelict annexe.
It took crews almost three hours to put out the flames.
This paper has now been told by a Met Police spokesperson that there have been three separate fires at the same address.
In its latest update, the Met has denied it is continuing to probe the most recent fire.
They also revealed that emergency services had been called to the address as "teenagers were throwing bricks at the windows in an abandoned building".
It is unclear whether these incidents are linked.

A spokesperson said: "We are not investigating it. There were three separate fires.
"We attended along with London Fire Brigade, fire was resolved, the council were informed of the incident and the area secured. There were no injuries."
Havering Council has confirmed the derelict building is not council-owned.
According to a London Fire Brigade (LFB) spokesperson, they are continuing their investigation.
