The first photos of the gastropub replacing a former Wetherspoons in Romford have been revealed.
Our reporter visited Ivy Tree in South Street yesterday (June 21) and photographed the premises which has changed considerably since its closure.
In April 2023 The World's Inn pub shut as part of British pub chain Wetherspoons' decision to sell and let dozens of its premises UK-wide.
New leaseholder Remzi Erdogan said on June 10 that the former Spoons will reopen as Ivy Tree on July 10 as a gastropub, bar and lounge.
Remzi, speaking ahead of the pub's opening, said: "We are bringing something from Mayfair to Romford, but prices will be the same as Romford."

Ivy Tree's opening had been delayed as Remzi ran into problems with famous restaurant chain The Ivy over the name, but claimed the dispute has since ended.
Just a few weeks away from Ivy Tree's opening day, and its grand launch on July 12, the premises looks ready for business.
