A planning application relating to Romford town centre's KFC outlet has been approved.
The South Street KFC has had plans for three updated signs approved by Havering Council, a decision made today (June 21).
The proposal, A0012.24, approved with conditions by the council, includes one internally lit projecting sign, a Colonel's logo box and a KFC letter sign.
Applicant Tahir Group had its plans received on April 15 this year and validated on May 2.

"It is overall considered that the proposed advertisements are acceptable with respect to character and design and would not represent any harmful impact to the visual amenity of the surrounding area," the officer's report for the decision stated.
The KFC is typically open from 11am until 10pm.
AW Architectural Design had been supporting the application and helped produce graphics for developer Tahir Group.
