Close-up video footage shows yesterday's huge fire tearing through an industrial estate in Rainham.
It took firefighters almost five hours to bring the blaze in Ferry Lane under control yesterday (June 20) afternoon, after being called at 1.11pm.
The above footage shows the fire engulfing huge swathes of an industrial building and producing a vast amount of billowing smoke, spotted for miles around the site.
About 125 firefighters were sent to Ferry Lane in 20 fire engines from stations across east London, given the extent of the blaze.

The fire, which destroyed multiple units, can be seen across different areas of the site in the footage shared with us.
Brigade officers can be seen advising onlookers to stay back, with red tape put up to keep people safe.
We asked the London Fire Brigade (LFB) for an update today on the possible cause of the blaze, but a spokesperson said the matter was still under investigation.
No injuries have been reported and the fire was eventually brought under control by 5.50pm yesterday.
