Two people have been injured in a crash in Rush Green. 

Firefighters from the London Fire Brigade were called at 12.04pm today (June 14) to Rush Green Road, with reports of a crash.

The crash involved two cars, and took firefighters just less than an hour to make the scene safe. 

One Facebook user wrote: "The fire brigade was just pushing a car in to the petrol station". 

Two patients, a man and a woman, were found at the scene with mild injuries.

Firefighters from Dagenham Fire Station were in attendance.

The Metropolitan Police have confirmed they did not make any arrests in connection with the crash. 

According to the AA traffic map, Rush Green Road is open.
