A wanted man has been arrested after reportedly smoking cannabis while driving a car.
South Hornchurch and Beam Park Police announced on June 9 this year they had arrested a man who was allegedly found with no license or insurance driving his car.
The area's Metropolitan Police team, posting to X at 10.47am yesterday (June 9), said the man had been wanted by Essex Police before making the arrest.

Police subsequently arrested the driver of the silver Vauxhall and seized the vehicle.

The man is due to appear in court at a later date.
Class A and B drugs were also found in the Vauxhall by the officers who made the arrest.
We have asked police when and where the man is due to appear in court, and Essex Police regarding why he was previously wanted.
