A person trapped after a crash on the A12 near Brentwood had to be rescued by firefighters.
Three people were injured after the crash between two cars on the dual carriageway between junction 11 and junction 12 yesterday evening (June 6).
Essex Police, fire service and ambulance service were called to the northbound carriageway at around 5.30pm.
One person was trapped inside their car, and had to be rescued by firefighters.
Three people were left injured, and ambulance crews transported two people to Queen’s Hospital in Romford for further assessment and treatment.
Their injuries are not believed to be life-threatening or life-changing.
Police closed off the northbound carriageway of the A12 while emergency services worked at the scene. All road closures were lifted by 9.30pm.
