Illuminated pylon signs for a car rental company and replacing French windows at a country mansion are among planning applications this week.

Havering Council has received 22 applications for a variety of developments in the borough.

Planning applications will be reviewed by the council before any final decisions are made.

We have summed up the most notable applications and included them for ease below:

One application (A0014.24) is for two illuminated pylon signs at Enterprise Rent-A-Car, in Southend Arterial Road, in Romford. 

Over in Havering-Atte-Bower, the Grade I listed Bower House, in Amana Trust Orange Tree Hill, needs to replace the French door in the dining room ( L0003.24).

In Lyndhurst Drive, Hornchurch, there's an application (P0554.24) to change a ground floor shop at the end of a parade into a hot food takeaway. The application includes the installation of an extraction flue. 

Half of the planning list is dominated by applications for single and double storey extensions.

There are three in Upminster (Y0129.24), (P0730.24) and (P0630.24), three in Hornchurch ( P0705.24), (Y0130.24) and (P0696.24) and some more in Romford (P0709.24), (P0735.24), (Y0135.24), (Y0136.24) and ( P0514.24).

But in Jersey Road, Rainham, the applicant (P0641.24) wishes to build a two-bedroom end of terrace house with associated amenities following the demolition of the existing garage. 

Any comments must be received within three weeks of May 28.
