Proposal to Demolish a nursery to build a new one alongside flats is among the planning applications received by Havering Council last week.

The site of Bright Futures Nursery and a two-storey house on Gooshays Drive in Harold Hill is sought to be redeveloped by Serabeth Homes Limited.

The new structures, the application suggests, will provide a bigger nursery and associated facilities plus five residential units and private amenities like parking spaces.

Other residential projects include single-storey rear extensions at 49 Barton Avenue, Romford and 31 Longtown Road, Romford Y0128.24, and loft conversions with dormers in several locations, such as 5 Cedar Avenue, Upminster.

A first-floor extension and internal reconfiguration has been proposed for Costin Powder Coatings on Lambs Lane in Rainham.

For a property on St Mary’s Lane in Upminster, the applicant has asked for council’s approval to carry out single-story side extension and create porch and new entrance, replace existing entrance door with a new window among other plans.

On Primrose Glen in Hornchurch, the existing garage is proposed to be demolished to build a two-storey, one-bedroom house.

All applications are currently under review and are undecided by the council.
