The first pictures from the scene of a boy's fatal fall in Plaistow have emerged.
A five-year-old boy died this morning (May 16) after falling to his death from an apartment block in New City Road.
It is believed the boy fell from the fifteenth floor of Jacobs House, PA News reports.
Crews from the London Fire Brigade, London Ambulance Service and Metropolitan Police Service were dispatched to the scene, with London's Air Ambulance being flown in.
A resident of the apartment building told PA: “The paramedic was shaken up.

RELATED:“The paramedics were here about 6am, 6.10 maybe. They were here quickly.”
The boy was pronounced dead at the scene.
An investigation has been launched into the circumstances of his death which police are describing as "unexpected".
