A shopping centre in Romford drew in scores of children for a dinosaur-themed event.
Michelle Petty, sales and marketing manager for Romford Shopping Hall, said that the Dino Day on Saturday (May 11) was attended by more than 150 kids.
It featured big dinosaur models that children could ride, 45-minute shows, baby dinosaur toys, games, a “fossil dig” and sand pit, dino hoppers and dinosaur arts and crafts.
Bow Bells Café at the mall served “Dino Dogs” all day, Michelle said, and Jungle Hair and Beauty salon offered a face painting service to visitors.

Dino2Hire supplied two giant dino models and dino toys were available at KC Toys, she added.
Video clips of the event, shared by the shopping hall, showed inflatable dinos and models filling the space around the mall.
During the show, a dino was seen performing to music before an excited audience.
Michelle added: “Dino Day is always a roaring success and very well attended which obviously helps our shops with footfall and reminds people of all the wonderful family-owned businesses we have inside."
