There are various road closures expected to be put in place in Havering over the coming week.
Havering Council has announced the planned closures so that essential maintenance works can be carried out.
The works include road resurfacing, installing traffic calming measures and replacing gas mains.
Here is a summary of the closures expected for the week ahead.
April 29
8am to 5pm: Cavendish Avenue resurfacing works
- Road closed, no waiting and no loading. Cavendish Avenue to be closed between South End Road and its end. Cavendish Crescent and Park Lane closed at junction with Cavendish Avenue. Temporary suspension of parking enforcement in Cavendish Avenue.
9.30am to 3pm: Havering Road maintenance works
- Road closed, no waiting, and no loading. Havering Road to be closed at its junction with Mashiters Hill.
7.30pm to 6am (April 30) Suttons Lane traffic calming works
- Road closed, no waiting, and no loading. Suttons Lane to be closed at its junction with Airfield Way and Gladiator Way.
April 30
8am to 5pm: Ashvale Gardens resurfacing works
- Road closed, no waiting, and no loading. Ashvale Gardens to be closed between its junction with Highfield Road and its end. Temporary suspension of parking enforcement in Ashvale Gardens and Highfield Road.
May 1
8am to 5pm: Ashvale Gardens resurfacing works
- Road closed, no waiting, and no loading. Ashvale Gardens to be closed between its junction with Highfield Road and its end. Temporary suspension of parking enforcement in Ashvale Gardens and Highfield Road.

7.30pm and 6am (May 3): Hilldene Avenue resurfacing works
- Road closed, no waiting, and no loading. Hilldene Avenue closed between its junctions with Gooshays Drive and Straight Road. Edenhall Road, Chatteris Avenue and Charlbury Crescent closed at junction with Hilldene Avenue. Temporary suspension of parking enforcement in Hilldene Avenue.
May 3
7.30pm and 6am (May 4): Hilldene Avenue resurfacing works
- Road closed, no waiting, and no loading. Hilldene Avenue closed between its junctions with Gooshays Drive and Straight Road. Edenhall Road, Chatteris Avenue and Charlbury Crescent closed at junction with Hilldene Avenue. Temporary suspension of parking enforcement in Hilldene Avenue.
Ongoing works
April 22 to May 12; 7am to 7pm: Gas mains replacement in Wingletye Lane
- Road closure, no waiting, and no loading. Wingletye Lane closed at its junction with Sylvan Avenue.
