An incident which closed a main road through Upminster and left a man injured was not suspicious, police have said.
Officers were called at 12.26am yesterday (April 23) to reports of an injured man, 29, in St Mary's Lane, Upminster.
The Metropolitan Police today (April 24) said there are no suspicious circumstances in connection with the incident, and his injuries are not life threatening nor life changing.

"Enquiries are still ongoing but at this stage there have been no arrests," a Met Police spokesperson said.
The AA yesterday reported Corbets Tey Road shut due to an "emergency services incident".
Slow traffic and delays had affected the B1421 going towards Upminster Station. A detour was in place for the 370 bus.
The closures have since cleared and the detour is no longer in operation.
